This stunning, fine and impressive diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated, elongated frame is ornamented with a feature 1.10ct Old European round cut diamond, collet set to the centre; this feature stone has been carefully selected by the goldsmith in a contrasting colour, creating an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The feature diamond is flanked on either side with four individually collet set Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size in a horizontal linear array.
This central formation is encompassed with an impressive paralleling border embellished with seventy-six pavé set diamonds; the four diamonds to the the diagonal points of the feature diamond are Old European cuts and the remaining are eight-cut.
The Edwardian brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged 18ct gold pin and sheath fastening.
This antique diamond brooch is hallmarked to the side of the setting with the French 18ct gold mark (eagle's head) and platinum mark (dog's head).
This stunning brooch is supplied with five IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
