This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18ct gold.
The French pendant displays a central oval shaped enamel panel which features the profile of a lady in vibrant metallic blue, white and yellow clothing, against a red background.
This central enamel panel is surrounded by an unembellished 18ct yellow gold frame.
The central setting is surrounded by a completely separate unembellished halo design.
The enamel panel is secured in place within the halo design with eight evenly placed supports.
The pendant is signed to the reverse with the maker's mark 'Bardonnaud, Limoges'.
This 1900's pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via an integrated ring loop attachment, and secures to the reverse with a conventional ring bolt clasp fastening.
This French pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
