An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Finnish silver teapot; an addition to our diverse continental teaware collection

This exceptional antique Finnish silver teapot has a plain oval rounded form onto a collet style foot.


The lower portion of this fine teapot is embellished with a plain incurved border incorporating fine and impressive chased fluted decorated Akroter style designs.


The surface of the waisted shoulders of this silver teapot are plain with an impressive gadroon decorated border to the rim.


This Finnish silver teapot is fitted with a flush hinged domed cover, which also features opposing chased fluted designs to the domed portion; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this piece.


The cover is surmounted with the original carved, shaped, fluted painted wood and Finnish silver finial.


This teapot is fitted with an impressive C scroll silver handle with a plain rounded thumbpiece.


The teapot is fitted with an impressive plain swan necked spout.


This fine example of silver teaware retains the original gilt interior.

This antique Finnish silver teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

The embossed decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the teapot are all very clear.
