This antique double bass ornament has been embellished with details reproducing the fine definition of the instrument's principal anatomy: a concave c-bout accented with violin corners, an f-hole to either side of the bridged strings, the iconic tapering upper bout and a head incorporating machine heads and nuts, terminating with a scroll.
