This exceptional antique George III sterling silver goblet has a plain circular bell-shaped form to a pedestal foot and square base.


The body of this antique wine goblet is embellished with impressive bright cut engraved interlacing scrolling leaf decoration accented with a trellis style pattern.


The decoration to the body incorporates a vacant cartouche to one side.


The lower portion of the body is further ornamented with applied overlapping water leaf designs; this decoration indicates the high quality of the piece.


The circular spreading foot is encompassed with further bright cut engraved scrolling leaf ornamentation.


This impressive example of Georgian silverware retains the original gilded interior.
