This fine antique German silver dish has an oval boat shaped form.
The interior surface of the Art Deco bread dish is embellished with four impressive pierced escutcheon shaped vertical pale ornamentations accented with applied festoon decoration.
The lobed portions of the body are further ornamented with a paralleling panel of pierced circular motifs flanked with horizontal pales, all in the iconic Art Deco style.
The rim is ornamented with an impressive applied reed decorated border.
