A fine and impressive antique German silver coffee pot in the Art Deco style; an addition to our silver teaware collection

This fine antique 800 standard silver coffee pot has a plain oval shaped form with incurved panels, all in the Art Deco style.


The surface of this German coffee pot is plain and embellished with a spindle decorated border to each panel edge.


The upper rim is encircled with further spindle decoration.


This fine coffee pot is fitted with a plain oval hinged cover surmounted with the original carved finial.


This silver coffee pot has an angular silver handle which retains the original handpiece.


This fine example of antique teaware has an impressive panelled spout.


The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine coffee pot include:

Maker's mark: Icon for Bremer Silberwarenfabrik

Silver quality/purity mark: 800 (800/1000, 800 standard)

National mark: Crescent moon and crown

This antique German coffee pot is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

There is some crazing to the original finial and handle, in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of antique teaware.
