This fine and impressive antique brooch with diamonds has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The oval shaped frame is ornamented to the centre with a cameo upon a hardstone background.
The cameo depicts a female figure draped in fabric and leaning against a pillar.
The hardstone panel is framed by a bead decorated border accented with thirty-four pavé set Old Dutch cut diamonds, graduating in size within the scalloped border.
The upper and lower portions of the frame are embellished with scrolling motifs accented with seven Old Dutch cut diamonds.
The cameo brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This impressive Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
This 19th century brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
