This vintage pearl brooch has been crafted in the form of a lady wearing a fashionable wide brimmed hat.
The female bust is comprised of a swept cylindrical 18ct white gold neck accented with an impressive 13.70mm mabe pearl, encased with further white gold depicting the figures hair.
The floral arrangement to the centre of the large hat on this piece of 1950s jewellery is ornamented with four fancy yellow diamonds, four emeralds, four sapphires and four rubies; each stone is a round cut and collet set.
The exceptional 18ct yellow gold hat is further ornamented with a large feather motif in addition to a ribbon bow design, accented with four individually claw set rubies to the wrapped knot.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged double pin.
This impressive vintage brooch is fitted to the original hinged red leatherette presentation case with a velvet lined interior.
