This fine and impressive antique amethyst ring has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, scrolling setting is ornamented with a central feature claw set 2.28ct emerald cut amethyst.
The tapering, shaped scrolling foliated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting, melding with the plain shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French gold import mark (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
This 1840s gemstone ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
This rare pale amethyst ring is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
