Roberts & Dore Ltd

The firm Roberts & Doré is well known for its production of silver, sterling silver and electroplate commodities from the early 20th Century to contemporary times.

Roberts & Doré was founded by Thomas Roberts and James Doré in Sheffield in 1908. In 1912 the company was transferred to Hatton Gardens.

Another company; a subsidiary of Roberts & Doré was listed in 1912 in Sheffield as Roberts, Dore & Hall (Sheffield) Ltd.

The firm Roberts & Doré Ltd was registered in 1914 in Hatton Gardens, London.

Three generations of the Roberts family have worked at Roberts & Doré. Thomas Roberts’ son Trevor Roberts joined in 1926. Trevor’s children, Henry and Kim Roberts joined in 1958 and 1968 respectively.

In 2009, Roberts & Doré Ltd took over Picnic at Ascot Ltd.
