This exceptional antique silver vesta case has been realistically modelled in the form of a boot.

The surface of this vesta is embellished with niello enamel ornamentation replicating the design to the boot and incorporating Russian initials to either side.

The upper portion of the boot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover.

This exceptional antique Russian silver vesta case accomodates a taper holder; accessible from the upper portion and heel of the boot.

The underside of the boot features a serrated panel/match striker.
