The body of each egg cup is embellished with exceptional embossed scrolling leaf and floral decoration accented with a shaped leaf textured background.
The pedestal foot of each piece is embellished with further scrolling leaf designs, incorporating a matte background.
These antique egg cups screw fit together to conjoin and form an ovoid shape.
One egg cup retains the original gilding to the interior underside of the pedestal foot.

Kokoshnik mark: C* (Aleksandr Nikolaievitch Snarsky)
Silver quality/purity mark: 900, 84 (84 zolotniks**)
