An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver straight Queen's pattern flatware service for six persons; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection

The pieces of this exceptional, antique Victorian straight*, sterling silver flatware set for six persons have been crafted in Queen's pattern.


The surface of each fork and spoon handle is embellished with the classic Queen's pattern ornamentation, including a convex shell design to the terminal, in addition to the scroll bordered honeysuckle and rosette design.


Each piece features honeysuckle designs to the shoulders, in addition to the spoon and fork heels.


This Queens pattern flatware set consists of 30 pieces:

Basic Service:
6 Table forks
6 Table spoons
6 Dessert forks
6 Dessert spoons
6 Teaspoons

The components of this antique Victorian service have been crafted by the London silversmiths Thomas Alfred Slater, Walter Brindsley Slater & Henry Arthur Holland of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater in 1896; as expected with period flatware crafted in London, this canteen is a superior gauge of silver.

This exceptional sterling silver English cutlery set is fitted to a later and refitted oak wood lift up lid canteen box; the box has a vacant and versatile storage compartment to the rear portion.


The cover of the box secures with a working locking mechanism.

This antique Queens pattern flatware set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The Queens pattern ornamentation is all exceptionally sharp.
