An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver straight Trefid pattern flatware service for ten persons; an addition to our antique flatware sets

The pieces of this exceptional antique George V sterling silver 10 person cutlery set have been crafted in the Trefid pattern.


The surface of each handle terminal is embellished with the contemporary engraved initial 'A'; this has been reproduced in a period typeface.


Each spoon features an impressive classic rat tail ornamentation to the reverse of the bowl.


The original sterling silver forks have three tines/prongs.


This 10 person cutlery set consists of 44 pieces:

10 Dessert forks
10 Dessert spoons
Additional Pieces:
2 Sauce ladles
2 Pickle Forks

The pieces of this silver cutlery set have been crafted by the renowned Birmingham silversmiths Elkington and Co Ltd in 1910.

This antique flatware service is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the superior gauge of silver.
