An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver cigarette/jewellery box; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection

This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II silver box has a plain rectangular form.


The surface of this impressive antique cigarette box is embellished with engine turned decoration, incorporating a rectangular vacant cartouche to the anterior side.


This example of vintage silverware is fitted with a hallmarked hinged silver cover, ornamented with further engine turned decoration accented with a tooled decorated chevron design to lower right hand corner.


The cover is encompassed with applied stylised scrolling leaf and floral decorated border.


This exceptional vintage box is fitted with the original cedar wood lining and retains the original detachable velvet jewellery fitment.


This sterling silver box has a weighted base and retains the original covering to the underside.


This fine example of vintage silverware is supported by four impressive swept bracket style feet.


By virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions.

This Harman Brothers silver box is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The engine turned ornamentation is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the cover are all very clear.
