An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George II English sterling silver coffee pot; an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection

This exceptional antique George II sterling silver coffee pot has a plain tapering cylindrical form with a subtly flared moulded base, in the highly desirable classic English form.


The plain body of this antique coffee pot is embellished with a contemporary engraved coat of arms to one side.


This impressive example of antique teaware is fitted with a domed hinged cover surmounted with a silver acorn style finial.


The coffee pot is fitted with an opposing scroll style carved pear wood handle with scrolling thumbpiece and fitted to sterling silver sockets.


The coffee pot has an impressive spout with plain applied moulded ornamentation to the socket and the lip.


The underside of the coffee pot is embellished with the engraved initials 'PWA' in addition to the original scratch weight and full hallmarks.


This exceptional example of Georgian silverware was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Gabriel Sleath.

This antique Georgian coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are all very clear.
