This exceptional antique George V sterling silver epergne has a plain, tapering conical form with a flared rim onto circular spreading base.
This antique silver epergne/centrepiece is comprised of a central scrolling frame accented with three sterling silver scrolling arms; the central support and the arms terminate with circular receivers.
The main holder and each of the three circular receivers retain the original hallmarked circular tapering flutes; the central flute is larger than the supporting three.
The rims of these antique vessels are encompassed with an impressive applied gadroon decorated border to the rim.
The flutes are further ornamented with drop style terminals.
