The flared galleried border is embellished with pierced interlacing, geometric arch decoration.
The pierced decoration to the gallery incorporates a horizontal pale which incorporates the full hallmarks; this indicates the high quality of the piece.
The rim of the galleried border is encompassed with a band of applied bead decoration.
