This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell-shaped form onto a waisted stem and circular spreading foot.
The body of this silver goblet is embellished with chased decoration incorporating fruiting vine ornamentation accented with putti* raising drinking glasses.
The decoration to one side of this exceptional goblet incorporates a wine casket, and the other bears a vacant oval cartouche.
The lower portion of the drinking vessel and the circular pedestal foot are further ornamented with chased leaf decoration, all on a matte background.
This exceptional example of antique silverware was crafted by the renowned London silversmith George William Adams of Chawner & Co.
