This exceptional antique sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot.
The body of this Victorian silver goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved and wrigglework decorated cascading arabesque motifs accented with scrolling leaf designs to the incurves.
The decoration to the body incorporates four cartouches accented with a scalloped swag design to the lower portion; two feature impressive designs of floral and leaf decorated sprays and the remaining two are vacant.
The upper rim of the goblet is encircled with a band of bright cut engraved undulating decoration, in addition to an applied moulded border.
The plain waisted pedestal features a plain circular knop to the centre.
The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved undulating decoration, with an applied bead decorated border to the rim.
