This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver goblet has a circular bell-shaped form onto a pedestal domed, spreading foot.
The surface of this vintage silver goblet has a subtly planished silver finish.
The body of the goblet is further ornamented with three impressive cast and applied leaf designs, emanating and conjoining with the plain waisted stem.
The plain domed circular foot features an impressive tiered arrangement.
This exceptional goblet was crafted by the female silversmith Joan Ruxton and assayed in Sheffield; the vessel is hallmarked with the date letter 'X' (1965) and the underside bears the mark 'A' (1968)*.
* It can be determined that this artisanal silversmith will have opted to create an addition plate for the base to provide further weight to the piece, this component was hallmarked at a later date to the initial vessel.
