The interlacing shaped handles of these impressive grape shears are embellished with a paralleling thread decorated border to the anterior surface.

The rounded blades of these fine grape shears are plain and unembellished.

The posterior surface is plain and unembellished, apart from the full hallmarks.

These impressive sterling silver grape shears are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior and secures with a push fit catch.

The interior of the cover bears the retailer's mark 'The Northern Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 1&3 Blackett St Newcastle'.

These antique grape scissors are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

These grape shears have been professionally polished and are in presentation condition.

The original box has some minor wear to the interior and is in presentation condition in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse and part hallmarks to the interior of the blade are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver. .
