This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver ladle has been crafted in the Hanoverian pattern.


The posterior surface of the handle terminal is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of out of mural crown two arms holding an escutcheon.


This exceptional Georgian silver ladle has a plain rounded bowl; the bowl is larger than a typical example.


The anterior surface of the silver soup ladle features a pip to the handle terminal.


Such handmade examples crafted by the most renowned and collectable silversmith, Paul de Lamerie, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this piece is the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire.

This antique Paul de Lamerie silver ladle is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the stem are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
