An exceptional, fine and impressive rare antique English sterling silver mustard pot with blue glass liner made by Omar Ramsden; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection

This exceptional and rare antique sterling silver mustard pot has a cylindrical form.


The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced vertical pale and conjoined arch decoration, accented with lozenge motifs, all in the desirable architectural style.


The rim of the mustard pot is ornamented with a plain applied moulded border.


This antique mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged cover surmounted with an impressive lobed thumbpiece.


This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with a plain scrolling handle.


The mustard pot is fitted with a removable blue glass liner.


This 1920s mustard pot is supplied with an associated spoon, crafted by Peter, Ann & William Bateman in 1802.


The mustard pot was crafted by the collectable and renowned silversmith Omar Ramsden and bears the engraving 'G.W. Burrows, Craftsman, Me Fecit' to the underside.


This exceptional mustard pot is a large example for its type and the finest example you could hope to acquire; mustard pots crafted by this renowned London maker are exceptionally rare.

This 1920s silver mustard pot with blue glass liner is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silver cruet.
