This exceptional set of antique Victorian silver napkin rings consists of six napkin rings, each with a circular shaped form.
The scalloped lozenge-shaped anterior surface of each napkin ring is embellished with a bright cut engraved interlacing scroll bordered cartouche, bearing a crest of a fleur-de-lis to the centre.
The cylindrical band of each napkin is ornamented with further bright cut engraved interlacing designs, incorporating quatrefoil floral motifs to the reverse.
These impressive Victorian silver napkin rings are fitted to an impressive hinged leatherette presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
Such examples in this desirable shape and substantial size are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; these napkin rings are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.
