An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique Victorian English sterling silver teapot made by Charles Riley & George Storer; an addition to our silver teaware collection

This impressive antique Victorian sterling silver teapot has a circular rounded, panelled form.


The impressive panelled body is embellished with bright cut engraved floral sprays, alternating with large scrolling leaf designs.


The decoration to the body incorporates two scrolling leaf bordered vacant cartouches.


This large Victorian teapot is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover, ornamented with a continuation of the aforementioned bright cut engraved decoration; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece.


The teapot retains the original, large sterling silver finial, reflecting the design of the body.


This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive C shaped handle, ornamented with further bright cut engraved decoration to the elevated thumbpiece.


The fine and impressive panelled swan necked spout is ornamented with bright cut engraved flower and leaf designs.


This antique teapot is supported by a plain panelled spreading foot.


This impressive Victorian teapot was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Charles Riley & George Storer.


Date: 1840

This antique Victorian teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside and part hallmarks struck to the interior of the cover are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
