This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver tray has an rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of the liqueur/drinks tray is encompassed with exceptional bright cut engraved leaf and floral festoons, separated by pensile leaf decorated drops suspended from ribbon bow designs; this ornamentation comprises a shaped vacant cartouche to the centre.
The surface is further embellished with a scalloped wrigglework decorated border, accented with further drop motifs.
The raised rounded border of the tray is encircled with fine and impressive applied bead decoration to the rim.
The tray is fitted with two impressive handles, bearing a continuation of bead decoration, in addition to a floral design to the centre of the shaped handpiece.
