The body of the mustard pot is embellished with a pierced decorated undulating trellis design, accented with a simplified floral motif to each cross-section.
The upper and lower portions of the pierced decorated panels incorporate embossed decorated scrolling leaf designs emanating from the rims.
The decoration to the anterior portion of the mustard pot includes an embossed and chased decorated winged angelic figure, accented with further leaf decoration.
The upper and lower rims of this mustard pot are ornamented with applied, moulded thread decorated borders.
This fine Victorian silver mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged cover surmounted with an impressive cast silver scrolling thumbpiece.
The surface of the cover is encircled with flat engraved scrolling leaf decoration, composing a vacant shaped cartouche to the centre.
