This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver bowl has a circular form onto a circular domed foot.

The body of this presentation bowl is embellished with exceptional chased fluted and foliate decoration, all in a swirl design.

The cylindrical upper portion of the bowl is encircled with an exceptional chased band depicting opposing lion passant to either side of a fruiting bowl design, all segmented with scrolling leaf designs.

The Monteith style rim of this antique bowl is ornamented with applied scrolling decoration and paralleling border, all on a matte background.

The domed foot is further embellished with a band of fluted foliate decoration, replicating that of the body.
