The body of this antique silver vase is encompassed with four exceptional and large engraved stylised floral motifs.
The motifs are flanked with an impressive bright cut engraved volute scroll border and fret band.
The swept neck of the vase is embellished with further engraved motifs, in addition to pensile drop decorated borders and circular designs.
The rounded upper portion is encompassed with a stylised leaf decorated border to an applied egg decorated border to the upper rim.
This impressive trophy/vase is fitted with an exceptional pair of embossed handles accented with vertical pale decoration to the lower portion.
The piece is supported by a circular swept pedestal foot accented with a further pensile drop decorated border, in addition to a fret band to the circular rounded base.
The rim of the vase bears the retailer's mark 'Dobson & Sons 32 Piccadilly, London'.
This magnificent presentation vase was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Robert Hennell IV.
