This fine and impressive vintage opal ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold, in the antique style.
The impressive rings is embellished with an impressive feature claw-set 0.68ct cabochon cut opal.
The tapering ring shoulders are ornamented with groove decoration, integrating with the setting and blending seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The interior of the shank is hallmarked with the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (18), the London Assay Office mark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1964 (i), in addition to an overstruck maker's mark.
