This stunning, fine and impressive vintage cluster ring has been crafted in platinum with an 18ct yellow gold setting.
The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a central feature 18ct yellow gold claw set 1.90ct cushion cut Thai ruby.
The feature ruby is encircled by ten impressive claw set Old European diamonds.
The elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The interior surface of the platinum, ruby and diamond cluster ring shank bears the contemporary engraved inscription 'With Love H. G. W. to J. G. W. 19-1-45'; this could be professionally removed if so desired.
The vintage ruby cluster ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (PLAT)and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18 carat gold.
This impressive unheated ruby ring with diamonds is supplied with a ruby report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*, in addition to an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
Such stunning and original examples, set with a high quality natural Thai ruby, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
