This magnificent, fine and impressive vintage chain has been crafted in 21ct yellow gold with 21ct white gold settings.
The settings of both the vintage necklace and bracelet are comprised of linear formations of two claw set Burmese rubies, alternating with arrangements of white gold set modern brilliant round cut diamonds; the rubies to the necklace are oval faceted cut and the bracelet bears round faceted cut.
The articulating pierced decoration setting of the necklace and bracelet incorporates a heart motif to the side.
The exceptional articulation of the ruby necklace setting conjoins the upper portion of each gemstone arrangement, allowing the piece to subtly splay and lay comfortably in situ.
The necklace setting connects to a yellow gold chain and secures with securing with a push fit style clasp; this clasp bears the added security of a bar to the terminal, creating a hooking action to release the fastening.
The ruby bracelet strap is comprised of multiple articulating yellow gold links, and secures to the reverse with a push fit catch, incorporating a hinged safety clasp.
This stunning jewellery set has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 21 carat gold; this indicates the high quality of the pieces.
This impressive vintage suite is supplied with ruby report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card.
The goldsmith has finely selected these exceptional rubies and diamonds to create a magnificent display around the wrist and across the neck.
A vintage ruby jewellery set in gold is a timeless and luxurious gift, perfect for milestone birthdays and significant anniversaries, especially the 40th, traditionally associated with rubies. The red hue symbolises love and passion, making it ideal for romantic occasions like Valentine’s Day, engagements, or weddings. As July's birthstone, it adds a personal touch to birthday celebrations.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the rubies originating in Myanmar (Burma - Mogok) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heat treatment.
