This stunning, fine and impressive vintage gemstone ring/pendant has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
This substantial ring is ornamented with a feature four-claw set 35.56ct oval cabochon cut coral.
The feature stone is encompassed with a paralleling scalloped border incorporating sixteen modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 0.86ct.
The symmetrical design is further ornamented with three claw set marquise cut emeralds to the upper and lower portions, in addition to four individually claw set emeralds to the sides, completing the design.
This feature setting bears a detachable multi-stranded ring shank, allowing access to a hinged bale; this versatile functionality is an integral part to the design and indicates the high quality of the piece, allowing the item to be worn comfortably and securely as either a ring or a pendant.
The exceptional pendant suspends from an 18" 18ct yellow gold belcher chain, securing with a conventional spring-loaded bolt fastening.
The setting is hallmarked to the bale of the pendant with the 14ct gold fineness mark (585) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
This vintage coral ring in gold is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
