This stunning, fine and impressive vintage ruby cluster ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated millegrain setting displays an impressive feature four-claw set 4.85ct cabochon cut star ruby to the centre of the design.
The feature ruby is flanked on either side with three baguette cut diamonds, in addition to an individually collet set baguette cut diamond to the upper and lower portions.
The Art Deco setting is further ornamented with ten eight-cut diamonds, completing the design.
The tapering shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the hallmarked ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the exterior of the shank with Portuguese domestic platinum mark* (parrot's head, minimum 850 standard) and the Lisbon import mark (pelican).
This impressive Art Deco ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: * The nature of the hallmark surround, in addition to the import mark, determines that the piece was processed in the Lisbon Assay Office. The parrot mark was used between 1985-1998; this in addition to the composition of the ring determine it to be crafted circa 1990.
