This stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1960s sapphire ring has been crafted in 18 ct white gold.
The substantial convex pierced decorated ring setting is ornamented with five round faceted cut Basaltic blue sapphires, totalling 5.17cts, all individually four-claw set in a linear arrangement.
The central five-stone arrangement is flanked to the upper and lower portions with three paralleling borders incorporating sixty-four claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 3.22cts.
The multi-stranded shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld to a ribbed shank.
This vintage sapphire ring is hallmarked to the exterior of the shank with the French maker's mark and 18ct gold mark (eagle's head); the piece has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
This impressive ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphires originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstones show no indications of heat treatment.
