The tapering, rounded anterior links are encompassed with alternating strands of yellow gold and steel, creating a threaded appearance; the yellow gold portions are subtly elevated.
The steel posterior links have an oval cylindrical form with tapering terminals.
The cufflinks articulate to the reverse via a yellow gold five link chain, securing to the posterior link with a yellow gold collar design.
The reverse of the anterior links are each signed 'Cartier' and include the serial number 417320, and the reverse link incorporates the design name 'Cretacia'.
