This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings.
The substantial, pierced decorated setting displays three feature platinum five-claw set round faceted cut yellow sapphires, totalling 2.55cts.
The yellow sapphires are accented by four individually four-claw set emerald cut emeralds, totalling 0.68ct.
The asymmetrical cluster design is further ornamented with five transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 0.45ct, completing the design.
The pierced decorated, bifurcated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly to the plain shank.
This emerald and yellow sapphire ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with a maker's mark (HVB & Sons), the platinum fineness mark (PLAT) and the 18ct fineness mark (18K).
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
