This fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a dragonfly.
The yellow gold paired wings are embellished with a total of ten impressive seed pearls.
The thorax of the dragonfly is ornamented with an impressive cabochon cut opal, collet set with a yellow gold rope twist decorated border.
The dragonfly's legs, abdomen and antennae are crafted in 15ct yellow gold, and the eyes are represented by two collet set round faceted cut peridots.
The dragonfly is encircled by a plain an unembellished 15ct yellow gold border.
The antique dragonfly brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
The fine and impressive antique brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the fineness mark for 15ct gold (15k).
