£1,495.00

A fine and impressive 12.39 carat amethyst, pearl and 0.06 carat ruby, 14 carat yellow gold 'insect' brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections

SKU C4229

This fine and impressive vintage amethyst brooch has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold.

The vintage brooch has been crafted in the form of a three-dimensional insect.

The abdomen of the insect is represented by an impressive claw set 12.39ct pear faceted cut amethyst.

The thorax is embellished with an impressive 8.15mm cultured pearl and supported by two four claw set round faceted rubies, replicating the details of the insect's eyes.

The yellow gold body of this amethyst insect brooch is accented with subtle organic decoration to the limbs.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, and is hallmarked to the underside with the 14 ct gold fineness mark (14K).

This impressive vintage gemstone brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
