This stunning, fine and impressive antique citrine pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, circular scroll decorated frame is ornamented to the centre with a feature oval mixed cut citrine.
A further four oval mixed cut citrines ornamented the design, set to the terminals of the graduated cross design emanating from the central stone.
The substantial pendant is embellished with fifty-eight individually collet set Old European cut and Dutch cut diamonds, dispersed throughout the scrolling decoration and outer border of the design.
A hand-painted black enamel design borders the central arrangement.
A linear drop suspends from the lower border of the design, displaying a round mixed cut and an oval mixed cut citrine, in addition to a further two Dutch cut diamonds, all collet set.
The linear drop is flanked on either side but a further four individual settings, suspended from the outer rim of the design, each displaying a single four claw set oval mixed cut citrine and a single collet set Dutch cut diamond.
The pendant suspends from a feature 0.44ct Old European cut diamond, via two half-byzantine style chains.
The uppermost feature diamond then suspends from a 16.5" half-byzantine style chain, securing with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening.
This stunning antique 1890's pendant may also be worn as a brooch, by removing the two bolt pin clasps to the reverse.
The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp, both hallmarked with the French marks for 18ct gold (eagle's head).
This stunning antique French pendant/brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
