This stunning, fine and impressive antique gemstone ring has been crafted in 9ct white gold.
The substantial ring displays a feature 17.50ct round faceted cut high zircon, six claw set in relief to the centre of the original setting.
The millegrain and pierced decorated ring shoulders are each ornamented with three pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, integrating with the main setting and blending seamlessly with the ring shank.
The interior of the ring shank incorporates stabilising/sizing spacers; these allow the ring to pass over larger knuckles and sit securely on the finger, however they can be removed upon request.
This stunning ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold.
This impressive antique zircon engagement ring in white gold is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
Such large zircons in the original ring settings are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
A 1930s blue zircon ring is an exquisite gift for discerning vintage jewellery enthusiasts, appealing to both men and women. Zircon is December’s birthstone, holding particular significance for birthdays and milestones celebrated in this month, however, its timeless charm suits anniversaries, engagements and other momentous occasions.
NOTE: * A high zircon is a natural zircon which has not suffered damage from self-radiation during the process of the stone’s creation; their gemmological properties are higher for density, hardness and refractive index. The zircon has high lustre and dispersion, in addition to the appearance of extra facets facilitated by double-refraction; each of these factors provides fine brilliance and flashes of fire.
