This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The Art Deco design is ornamented with a central claw set 1.65ct Old European round cut diamond.
The central diamond is flanked on either side by a claw set oval faceted cut Basaltic sapphire.
The pierced decorated setting is embellished with a further twenty-eight pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European round and baguette cuts.
The ring shoulders are ornamented with eight further pavé set Old European cut diamonds, integrating with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This 1930's sapphire and diamond dress ring in platinum has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
Such antique examples with large feature diamonds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstones show no indications of heating.
