This fine and impressive vintage sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The substantial domed bombe* setting is ornamented with nine feature collet set oval faceted cut blue sapphires, totalling 2.45ct.
The convex anterior face of the ring is further embellished with thirty-six pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The subtly flared ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18ct gold fineness mark (K18).
This impressive vintage 1980's sapphire and diamond ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: * Bombé (English: bomb) denotes the rounded curved bomb-shaped of the design style. Whilst the style was popularised in the Edwardian period, each following decade has provided their own adaptations and unique variations to the curving three-dimensional settings.
