2.00ct Diamond and 18ct Yellow Gold, Platinum Set Dress ring - Antique French Circa 1920

This stunning, fine and impressive antique French diamond and gold ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings.

The pierced decorated, convex design displays a stunning central feature 1.60ct claw set Old European round cut diamond.

The feature diamond is flanked on either side by a total of eight platinum collet set Old European round cut diamonds, segmented in arrangements alternating with vertical pales.

The tapering shank is ornamented with a stylised ribbed design composed of a continuation of vertical pales.

The outer surface of the shank bears the French hallmarks for 18ct gold (eagle's head), platinum (dog's head) and French lozenge shaped maker's mark.

This antique diamond dress ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
