The upper plateau of the cover is ornamented with an impressive 27.34ct cabochon cut colourless quartz.
The sides of the cover are embellished with further pin struck decoration, incorporating a plain rounded thumbpiece to the anterior surface.
The hinged cover opens to allow access to the original, hinged pierced decorated grille.
The impressive antique glass box is ornamented with compressive hobnail style decoration.
This vinaigrette box has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
