This stunning, fine and impressive antique gemstone brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The brooch is ornamented with a feature 4.35ct oval mixed cut peridot, collet set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
This peridot brooch is encircled by a total of sixteen 3.5mm seed pearls, in addition to sixteen emanating kite shaped settings.
The kite shaped settings are embellished with an alternating array of four emeralds, four pink sapphires and eight yellow sapphires, in a combination of pear, Old mine and Old European cuts.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp brooch clasp fastening, and benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain.
This versatile piece of jewellery can also be worn as a pendant via an ring loop to the reverse of the brooch; the detachable hinge pin indicates the high quality of the piece.
This Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
The brooch is supplied with two IDGL gemstone grading report cards.
