This fine and impressive vintage chain has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.
The vintage necklace and bracelet set consists of two baluster chains.
The bracelet and necklace may be worn together to create an extended chain; this indicates the high quality of the pieces.
The necklace consists of twenty-two links and the bracelet bears nine, each securing with a lobster claw fastening.
The necklace is hallmarked to both sides of the lobster claw attachment ring loop with the 9ct fineness mark (375), the Arezza Italian mark (Star, 1, AR), and a maker's mark (UNOAERRE), the importer's mark (C&F), the London import mark, and the import date letter for 1995 (V).
The bracelet bears resembling hallmarks, with a differentiation to the import date letter; the items will have been crafted in the same year but due to the hallmarking system, the one piece is struck with the date letter 'V' and the other bears the date letter 'W' (1996).
