American 10ct Rose Gold Vesta Case - Antique Circa 1910

This exceptional antique American 10ct rose gold vesta case has a plain rectangular rounded form.

The surface of the vesta is plain and embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'A.S.' to one side.

This piece is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover with a plain thumbpiece and ring loop attachment to the upper portion.

There is an integrated serrated panel/match striker to the underside.

This exceptional case is struck with the standard/purity mark 10^CT; the piece does not feature an assay or maker's mark, therefore the date / origin can be determined by the composition and decoration.
